Hi everyone and welcome to

Firstly, allow me to introduce myself; my name is Karen Bent and I am the founder of

I qualified as a Fitness Instructor in April 1993 and as a Personal Trainer in June 1996 so this is my 26th year in the fitness industry!

Throughout the 1990's I ran a sucessful business teaching exercise classes in the local community. In 2002, I began lecturing at Loughborough College where my main role was Course Leader for the CYQ Certificate in Personal Training course.

During my lecturing career, I trained hundreds students to become Fitness Instructors and Personal Trainers and thoroughly enjoyed that role.

I didn't start to exercise regularly myself until my late 20's, but I soon began to appreciate how great exercising made me feel. What started as a hobby, very quickly became my new career and my passion for keeping fit and healthy continues.

I can honestly say that exercising regularly for the last 30+ years has been the best gift I could have given myself.

Participating in a regular exercise programme that you enjoy helps you to feel fit and strong, both physically, mentally and psychologically.

My passion has always been working within the local community, teaching different types of exercise classes and helping people to develop confidence in themselves as they get fitter; I firmly believe I have the best job in the world!
